The journey began in childhood; KC has been hooked on writing ever since a teacher helped him make a book when he was a kid. From making up backstories for toys to crafting short stories and poetry, writing became his anchor.

The foundation for his debut novel, Recurve, was sparked by a jarring nightmare on Halloween night in 2016. It became a labor of love spanning five and a half years, written through profound grief, doubt, and the loss of loved ones. Through the discipline learned from his family, he finished the work to prove that light can be brought forth from the darkest moments.
